Ladies, pay attention: with the Nela 88, we have the perfect ski for those who love both on-piste and off-piste adventures. Thanks to its lightweight construction, Softflex technology, and special freeride tip, this ski is comfortable and requires minimal effort. The waist of 88 mm provides excellent stability and safety no matter where you're headed. In the spirit of "come what may". So what are you waiting for? This ski is ready to conquer the entire mountain with you.

Features:

  • Rocker- the gradual bending up of the ski at its tip and tail is called the rocker. Stöckli modifies the rocker according to the type of ski. Typically, the longer and more pronounced the rocker, the more lift is generated and the more responsive and easy-turning the ski becomes. Benefits include better float in powder, less effort required, easier to turn on pistes, and easier edging.
  • Light Core & Super Light Core- Particularly light European wood Species are deployed in the all-mountain, freeride/off-piste and touring segments. This makes the core a little softer and suppler, which lends the ski dynamism and makes it very durable. Benefits are reduced weight due to ultralight core, dynamic ski response and very durable.
  • Thin Glass Laminate- this fiberglass laminate is 25% lighter than its conventional counterpart. the optimized material composition maintains the stiffness of the fiberglass and thus the ski's handling characteristics. The benefits is lighter in weight, and same degree of flex.
  • Softflex- The individual layers are thinner and some models feature lighter mate5rial. This lends the ski a softer flex. Light skiers, especially, benefit from the enhanced bending characteristics which offer enhanced enjoyment with less effort. Benefits of Softflex are, optimal ski deflection, less effort required for improved comfort, and reduced weight.
  • Solid Metal Edge- Wider than conventional edges. This not only increases the service life of the ski, but also pays off in the rental/lending sector, where the equipment is subjected to particularly heavy use. A wider edge also makes the ski a little more stable. The benefits are longer service life, reduced susceptibility to damage, more grinding possible, and increased stability.
  • Ploywall- This sidewall is slightly softer and therefore more elastic than the phenolic sidewall. It exhibits damping properties and thus boasts significantly higher impact resistance. Benefits include high robust, high impact resistance, and damping properties.
  • Tail Rocker- A longer rocker at the tail with a flatter radius. Benefits are the edge in contact with the snow is decreased, making the ski more playful and it enables optimum grip when edging.
  • Freeride Tip Technology- Light, stiff insert material at the tip makes the shovel more stable and less jittery. This light Freeride Tip material helps generate more life in deep snow. Benefits include improved life with lower swing weight and more stable shovel and easy, effortless skiing in all snow conditions.
  • Titanal Technology- No conventional cover sheet. Instead, the top layer of Titanal is coasted with powder. The design is then applied directly to the Titanal by means a of transfer printing. This produces weight saving and results in a special visual appearance. The benefits include optical effect, reduced weight, as the polyamide surface is done away with and the graphics are printed directly on to Titanal.
