Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend at least one tune up service at the beginning and/or end of a season. Depending on how, and how often, you hit the slopes you may need more services throughout the winter.

If you gain or lose weight, advance in your ability or experience an impact on your skis it is recommended to bring them in to a ski shop so a certified technician can perform an inspection, adjust the DIN, if necessary, and make sure that the release mechanism on the binding is functioning properly.

During a quick wax service, our technicians utilize a special machine to quickly apply the wax to the base of your skis or snowboard in a matter of minutes. An iron-on wax service takes more time because it is done by hand but lasts longer between applications.

Take a look at the base and edges your equipment. Are there white patches or gouges in the base? Are there rough spots on the edges? Has it been more than a year since you’ve used your equipment? If you answered "yes" to any one of these questions, it’s time for some TLC.

Whether you found them in your basement, or were given them as a hand me down, the best thing to do is to bring your equipment into our ski shop. Our certified technicians can perform a complimentary inspection and make sure that your equipment is in compliance with the industry’s most current safety guidelines.
