Ski Shack offers introductory paddle boarding and SUP yoga classes throughout Northeast Pennsylvania’s greater Wyoming Valley, Endless Mountains and Pocono regions. Our instructors are experienced paddlers, life-long outdoor enthusiasts, and Northeast PA natives (and yes, we are fully insured!). We’re passionate about introducing new paddlers to the sport, and about exploring the abundant lakes and waterways of NEPA and beyond.
We also offer private classes for birthday parties, social clubs, community events, corporate team building, bachelorette parties and more. If you have a swimmable body of water nearby, we’ll gladly come to you with all the equipment and expertise needed for a fun, safe, confidence-building experience on the water.

Gather your squad for an afternoon of simple, life-affirming pre-wedding fun. We’ll meet you at your favorite Northeast PA lake for a private paddle board class tailored to your needs and interests. We’ll bring everything you’ll need — boards, paddles, PFDs, etc. — and walk you through a relaxing, empowering experience on the water.
Whisk your besties away to pristine, tree-fringed Lake Genero for an unforgettable weekend of paddleboarding and campfire fun. Our glamping paddle packages set you up at a gorgeous Pocono hideaway (just two hours from NYC or Philly), where you’ll sleep in white walled tents with comfy beds (or bring your own tent). We’ll provide everything you need (boards, paddles, PFDs, kayaks, etc.) for a fortifying waterfront getaway, including introductory paddle boarding classes so you can explore the lake safely and with confidence.
Looking for some extra wellness with your stay? Yoga sessions, floating vibrational sound baths, guided hikes, reiki, massage, and other bodywork are available for an additional fee.
